Established in January 2014, we are a young, dynamic and independent business owned by our directors and staff.
Our prime objectives are to provide our clients with a distinctive personal service, technically sound advice and tailor-made insurance products to meet their specific needs and requirements.
Although a youthful business, our directors and senior staff have spent their careers in the commercial insurance sector where they have acquired a wealth of experience and expertise.
ATL is an international business with fully staffed offices in London, Madrid and Miami with clientele that range from Latin America to the Far East. Our principals are multi-lingual and we place insurance worldwide into the London and International insurance markets.
ATL Marine & Energy Ltd. based in London, acts as our primary hub giving us access to the London Insurance Market, specifically Lloyd’s of London and the London Company Market.
As the global insurance capital of the world, it is vital for ATL to maintain a presence in London to ensure we are at the forefront of all insurance news, advancements and continually updated regulatory requirements which are demanded of us.
ATL Maritimo y Energía Correduría de Seguros y Reaseguros, S.L. serves as our European arm acting out of Madrid, Spain and is authorised and regulated by the Dirección General de Seguros y Fondos de Pensiones.
Born out of the ramifications of Brexit, which officially came into effect within the UK Insurance Market on 1st January 2021, ATL Maritimo is a fully staffed and functional office which allows us to transact business within the European Economic Zone, cementing ATL’s status as a truly international Lloyd’s Broker who are empowered and able to service all classes of clientele on a worldwide basis.
ATL Miami Inc. registered in Florida acts as our gateway to the United States and neighbouring territories. This allows us to have a more direct and personal approach when dealing in these areas, with particular emphasis on Latin America, where we are able to reap the benefits of our in-depth regional knowledge and long-term relationships.
We have various appointments from major UK Insurers via their US based offices and hold the correspondent Surplus Line insurance license which allows for the handling of authorised risks outside of the admitted market in the US, such as Marine, Cargo and Commercial Property for example.
