Modern Slavery Statement

ATL Modern Slavery Statement

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

ATL are committed to acting ethically and with integrity, as well as ensuring there is transparency, in all our dealings and relationships across our entire supply chain and to the continual implementation and enforcement of effective systems and controls to ensure any form of modern slavery is not taking place within any part of our business.

Our commitment extends to ensuring compliance with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We expect and demand the same standards from all of our contractors, suppliers and other business partners and, as part of our contracting processes, we include specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, and we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

As an Insurance Intermediary, ATL does not operate in an industry whereby modern slavery is prevalent, and we have not identified any modern slavery concerns.

The board of ATL has committed to raising staff awareness on modern slavery by way of proving the appropriate level of training to staff and ensuring robust systems and procedures are in place to guide staff accordingly. These include Modern Slavery, Anti Bribery & Corruption, Complaints, Equal Opportunities & Diversity and Whistleblowing and are reviewed on an annual basis.
